CODE SPORTS LAUNCHES THE SUMMER OF CRICKET WITH THE GAME’S BIGGEST STARS
CODE Sports has officially kicked off its Summer of Cricket with an unmissable launch event at the Kolkata Cricket Club at Crown, bringing together some of the biggest names in the game to celebrate the season ahead.
Hosted by legendary cricket writer Robert “Crash” Craddock, the event showcased CODE Sports as Australia’s home of cricket - the premium destination for smart, in-depth sports journalism. Guests were given a look at CODE’s “No BS. Just Cricket.” approach, built on deeper storytelling, sharp analysis and trusted voices across the sport.
Cricket icons Adam Gilchrist and Damien “Flem” Fleming headlined the event, joining Crash for a wide-ranging conversation about the summer ahead. They were joined by Melbourne Stars veteran Peter Siddle and Melbourne Renegades quick Tayla Vlaeminck, who shared insights into the upcoming BBL and WBBL seasons.
Adding to the atmosphere were Peter Helliar and Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann (co-hosts with Flem of the Make Me Good at Golf podcast) along with Jackson Warne and fan-favourite creators Marmalade.
The launch also highlighted SuperCoach BBL, the long-running and continually evolving fantasy cricket platform that makes every ball count. With tens of thousands playing each season, SuperCoach BBL continues to grow as the must-play summer competition for fans who love strategy, breakout performances and the chaos of shock round swings.
Guests also enjoyed a culinary moment featuring Adam Gilchrist’s El Arquero tequila, paired with a bespoke dish by Kolkata Cricket Club head chef Mischa Tropp.
The event underscored CODE Sports’ strong audience growth, its access to premium content including Kayo Sports highlights and its leadership team of top-tier writers and analysts, including Crash, Ben Horne, Daniel Cherny and first-year contributors Michael Clarke and Steve Harmisen.
Together, CODE Sports and its partners set the tone for a season defined by passion, insight and the very best stories in Australian cricket - on the field, behind the scenes and everywhere in between.
